Amy Fiore
Amy Fiore is an accomplished nonprofit executive and consultant with twenty five years of experience driving growth, sustainability, and operational excellence for mission-driven organizations. As a consultant, Amy has leveraged her extensive background in fundraising and organizational strategy to help nonprofits navigate complex transitions and achieve long-term success.
Throughout her career, Amy has built a reputation for "poking the status quo" by challenging organizations to try new approaches and find more efficient and impactful ways of working. Her expertise spans strategic planning, board development, nonprofit executive coaching/counsel, fundraising assessments and plans, and staff and board training. She is particularly adept at helping small-to-mid-sized organizations build the infrastructure necessary to scale their impact while being inclusive of all stakeholders needs and without sacrificing their core mission.
In addition to her role at The Bixel Group, Amy serves as the Director for the NonProfit HelpDesk providing free workshops and expertise to organizations in and around NYC, and as the Director of Development for Story Pirates Changemakers, the nonprofit arm of the celebrated Story Pirates, for which she received a Silver Distinction for Corporate Social Responsibility in the Non-Profit Campaign category and a Best Of Live Awards: Women Who Rock Meetings & Events by Live Nation.
Her deep roots in the Manhattan cultural landscape include significant leadership tenures at The Public Theater and TADA! Youth Theater, where she honed her skills in managing complicated budgets and diverse constituent needs. Tapping into her performing arts background and firm belief in mentorship and education, Amy has shared her expertise as an adjunct professor at New York University, and is a frequent speaker and guest lecturer at countless conferences and workshop series.
Amy holds a degree from Syracuse University, resides in Scotch Plains with her husband and two daughters and runs a small youth theater company in her free time.
