Maureen Prout Alvidrez
Maureen Prout Alvidrez, a Certified Fundraising Executive (CFRE), has been in the nonprofit fundraising community for more than 20 years. As a seasoned leader, her expertise spans from high-level fundraising planning, execution of capital campaigns, to meticulous grants management, writing, and research.
Also currently serving as a Facilitator for the NonProfit HelpDesk, Maureen previously held roles as the Director of Development for Marylawn of the Oranges Academy and as a Major Gifts Officer at Seton Hall University. Her holistic approach to fundraising is informed by a diverse professional history including tenures on Congressional staffs in D.C. and District offices. Maureen then held leadership roles in sales and marketing at Hypotenuse, Inc. (SurveyUSA), specializing in direct messaging, opinion polling, and market research.
Active in her community, Maureen is a founding trustee of Hilltopper Stage Productions and served on the Board of The Summit Conservancy during the planning and construction of the Summit Free Market building. She is a member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP-NJ) and a lifelong volunteer. Maureen holds a B.A. from Manhattanville College and an M.P.A. with a concentration in nonprofit organization management from Seton Hall University. She grew up in Maplewood, NJ and resides with her family in Summit, NJ.
